The Medical Cadet Course is a special program of Pak Army for those students who want to pursue military life along with MBBS or BDS. Through this course, students are provided free education in top-notch medical colleges of the Army. After completing five years of education, candidates are commissioned as Captain Doctor in the Pakistan Army Medical Corps. Lady Cadet Course (LCC) Technical Cadet Course Eligibility Criteria for Medical Cadet Course The student who is willing to join the Pakistan Army as a medical cadet must fulfill the following criteria: Must be a citizen of Pakistan to apply for the medical cadet course. Only unmarried males between the ages of 17 and 21 can apply. A minimum of 65% marks is required for pre-medicine. A-level students need an equivalence certificate, and after getting a C grade, the candidate joins the Army Medical College, and the education is completely free. Medical Cadet Course Preliminary Selection Procedure The selection process for the Medical Cadet Course involves various stages. First, the candidate has to clear a written test which includes an intelligence portion (mental questions) and academic MCQs from English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Candidates who qualify for this must undergo a physical fitness test, which includes running, push-ups, chin-ups, and sit-ups. After written and physical tests, the candidate goes through an initial medical examination to evaluate height, weight, eyesight, hearing, and general health.
