It is essential to understand the examination procedure, eligibility criteria, and selection process. This is a standard path to become a cadet to join the Pakistan Army.
Eligible candidates will first appear for an Intelligence Test, which includes Viral Intelligence and Non-Viral Reasoning sections – each part has approximately 80–90 questions to be solved in 30 minutes.
Successful candidates will appear in an academic test, which consists of 50 MCQs covering various subjects like English, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, and Computer Science (for CS students). The academic section pattern includes 50 MCQs, and the time to solve them is 30 minutes.
This is followed by an interview and physical test by ISSB, and selected candidates are admitted to a four-year B.E. degree program through NUST for engineering training, followed by one year of military training, followed by commission as Captain.
